1. Android Developer (Full Time)

Taggito is a mobile startup focussed on Near Field Communications (NFC). We sell NFC hardware on our online stores (www.taggito.com & www.taggito.es). We also develop NFC web & mobile applications for our enterprise clients.

This position is for our applications business to help with the further development our NFC Events Management platform (http://events.taggito.com)

Job Description:

• Responsible for developing taggito’s new Android NFC applications
• Develop direct customer relationship scoping out requirements, proposing viable recommendations, develop & integrate new functionality
• Test new libraries and hardware solutions for NFC
• Participate in brainstorming sessions for new feature roll-out
• Occasional travel to client locations in Europe and Asia

Candidate Profile:

• Self-starter and independent worker who loves to learn and be challenged everyday!
• Bachelors degree in Computer Science preferred
• Able to work from idea inception to final roll-out
• Strong team player with good communication skills
• Fluent in English and at least one other European language
• Basic understanding of web services. Prior knowledge of web development using Rails, PHP preferred.
• Be comfortable in a startup environment

Compensation and equity will depend on the candidate profile.
